The universal language of music soared to new heights Sunday as Roger Fisher's Pray for Love 2003 event amped up and kissed the skies above Granite Falls, WA. Roger Fisher (Heart / Alias), Randy Hansen (world-famous Hendrix impersonator), Mike Derosier (Heart), Josh Williamson (picked as one of the best new guitarists in the country by Kenny Wayne Shepard), Nick Vigarino, Gretchen Christopher (The Fleetwoods), Geoff Castle (Guarneri Underground), Lynn Sorensen (Paul Rodgers Band) Crown Hillbillies, The Israel Sisters, Tony LaStella, and Jim Mclaughlin (World Champion harmonica player) carried the stage for 7 hours of incredible musicianship.

From start to finish the day could not have been more perfect. Nobody missed a beat. Not to be shadowed by the majestic surroundings of Twin Falls Estates, every musician who hit the stage maxed out on talent, spirit, energy and sound as if to up the ante on the perfectly gorgeous Northwest September day. Closing the show forced even the spirits of the magnanimous mountain backdrop to pick up and dance as Roger Fisher, Geoff Castle, Mike Derosier, Randy Hansen, Lynn Sorenson and Jim Mclaughlin jammed in an hour-long progression of pure energy and solid rock and roll.

The brainchild of Roger Fisher, Pray for Love events originated after the terrorist attacks of 9/11. Fisher pools talented musicians and friends for a day of diverse musical performances. Todd Stafne is the creator of the carefully selected venues, marvelous in and of themselves. The first Pray for Love event was held at a tree-laden lake site with 700 ft granite cliffs dropping into the water's edge. Pray For Love 2003 was held in a Rock Garden with boulders the size of small houses sprinkled throughout the site and back-dropped by a semi-circle of sheer granite mountainside giving whole new meaning to ROCK and roll. The site was selected for the acoustical qualities Stafne picked up on when he heard the sound of Eagles bouncing off the cliff walls and reverberating throughout the canyon where he was cutting firewood. Stafne's goal in the selection of his venues is for humans to feel the magnitude of the land and the power of the earth, playing on the significance we each apply to our lives and attempting to reach new perspectives on importance while creating an acoustic venue unlike anything else on earth.

With over a million dollars spent on site development donated by Stafne and the volunteer efforts of over 100 individuals from musicians to production crews, these events strive to perpetuate the abundance of the earth and its peoples in hope that each participant takes away with them the ability to seek out and proliferate peace, abundant thinking and clear consciousness. Pray for Love events are created to remind us of what can be done when like-minded people pool their resources and energy to give some magic to the world. Everything besides the development of the land is done for no exchange of money. Video and audio recording; live sound and lighting; volunteer help crews; security and more are all donated! The event is free to the public.

Sunday's Pray for Love 2003 rocked the planet from Granite Falls, WA and was filmed for a DVD that will be available to the public in November of 2003 through the efforts of THE HUMAN TRIBE FOUNDATION, formed in 1999 by Roger Fisher.

THE HUMAN TRIBE FOUNDATION is a nonprofit 501C3 organization under The National Heritage Foundation and the primary support for future Pray for Love events.
