With the COVID-19 pandemic upending daily lives, routines, and threatening the local blood supply, local artist Roger Fisher is hoping to raise awareness of the ongoing need for members of the community to donate blood.
“We often say families are bound by blood,” said Seattle-born Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Roger Fisher who will stream the intimate concert from his home studio. “Communities are, too. At a time when our community could really use the healing power of music, they can also use lifesaving blood. Donating is easy to do and I can’t imagine a greater gift than saving a life.” Fisher, the guitarist behind “Barracuda” and “Crazy On You” aims to harness the power of the community looking for ways to help out during these trying times.
